Unfortunately, the complexity present in both its story and gameplay caused those two elements to trip over one another rather than work in unison. Historia tells the tale of a soldier named Stocke who gains the power to travel through time, exploring the impact of different choices as he seeks to prevent the end of the world. You're missing the point. The site "HowLongToBeat" takes people's average playtimes. You can see everyone's time individually or the average. But no one had anywhere close to As I said before, if this is around a 40 hour game, the only explanation i can think of for the average being 20 hours is that this is a remake and a lot of the people who played it and posted their playtimes probably beat the original game many times and breezed through this one.

For that to be the case, the remaining 5 Chapters would have to be significantly shorter than the first one.
