Why emirates
Their fleet houses a total of 76 A airplanes, and man I love to fly in giant As. They have so much more space than other aircrafts, like a , and the flight is also much quieter. Usually I get something to eat before a long flight, and then a quick snack right before I get on the plane.
That way I can sit through hours of flying without having to eat but then have food when I land. Nevertheless, the food on all Emirates flights actually tastes pretty good! The Asian dishes, and desserts, are often the most delicious. But the best part?
They serve croissants for breakfast that taste like a dream! I always eat a lot due to my size. Really small servings on most airlines rarely fill me up. In addition to a main course, which is already bigger in my opinion, they usually offer salads, sandwiches, crackers, cheese, butter and cream cheese, and nice large helpings of dessert. I usually get that second piece of bread! This is the next great thing about Emirates : the service is fantastic! If you ask for a second croissant or some extra bread, you can get whatever they have left without any issues.
I always get a funny or annoyed look. Additionally, the stewards and stewardesses regularly go down the aisles and booths to distribute drinks! Yes, I have to bring this point up. At Emirates Airways the toilets are almost always clean. The aisles of the plane were gross too. No paper lying on the floor, no drink cups and cans in the aisles, and no disgusting toilet bowls! The flight touched down at local time and spent over two hours on the ground. By the time flight EK was ready to depart from Toronto, its crew had already clocked in around 10 hours from the moment of departure.
Continuing onwards to Dubai from Toronto would have led the crew to exceed their maximum duty hours. The Emirates operations team now had a difficult decision to make. Emirates flies from Toronto to Dubai five times a week, but Tuesday is one of the days without a flight. It also departs at , whereas the diverted flight arrived in the early hours of the morning.
This would have meant an extremely long wait for passengers, even if there was a scheduled service that day.
While the country recently relaxed its entry requirements , many passengers onboard flight EK would not have met the requirements should the flight have decided to stay. I love the idea of having WiFi and from your photo the cabin looks beautiful and modern.
I hope I get to try them out soon. Emirates Airlines sounds like a great airline to travel with! Especially with having a good amount of leg space. The internet is so cheap and would definitely make it easier to keep busy on long flights. I flew with Emirates from Paris to Tokyo a few years ago and it was a great journey. So I wholeheartedly agree with all the points you made! I would love to fly with them again!
I flew Emirates before from England and it was a nice experience! Plenty of room for my long legs! Emirates no doubts looks amazing. I had got an amazing deal on emirates when i flew to Europe. The class is so much apart for others. I was it was a tad bit cheaper so to choose for all destinations. She told me how awesome it was to work for them and fly them! I totally agree.
